and parents or carers needing health advice or information.
We support children and young people with identified health

We initiate and support activities for promoting health

drugs and alcohol, behaviour management, safety and bullying) in
school and across communities.

The Manchester school Health Service offers a texting service
for young people call ChatHealth, which is a new way for young
people to get advice and support around health related issues
directly from the School Health Service.
It is a safe and secure messaging service which protects
confidentiality and anonymity and is monitored by a small team of
trained nurses. Young people aged between 11 and 16 can text for
advice on all kinds of health issues, such as sexual health,
emotional health and wellbeing, bullying, healthy eating and any
general health concerns.
